Floyd Cove Nursery is built on a passion for growing extraordinary daylilies and sharing them with gardeners who value beauty, performance, and innovation. As a family-run operation, we combine decades of hands-on hybridizing experience with a deep commitment to horticultural excellence. At our core, we simply love growing exceptional plants and helping others discover the joy they bring.

We are proud to offer one of the most diverse selections of vibrant, cutting-edge daylilies available. Our dedication to quality has led us to introduce many highly sought-after Pierce-Gilstrap hybrids, known for their dramatic color, form, and garden strength. Each season, we work to offer varieties that excite collectors, inspire home gardeners, and push the boundaries of what daylilies can be.

At Floyd Cove, plant health is our top priority. Every daylily we ship is grown with care, evaluated in real garden conditions, and represented with accurate photographs and honest descriptions. We want you to know exactly what to expect in your own garden, and we believe that with the right care and fertilization, our plants will exceed expectations year after year.

At Floyd Cove Nursery, we are known for producing quality daylilies that inspire not only the hybridizer but also the daylily lover. Over the past 30 years, we have continued to maintain a high standard of plants delivered to our customers. All daylilies are personally dug, labeled, and packed by us. We value the friendly and personal relationships we have with our customers. If you have a question or need advice, please feel free to contact us.

All our plants are inspected by the State of Florida and our nursery is under a regular spraying program to ensure the highest quality of plants. We spray to not have rust in the garden. All plants listed for sale are freshly planted each year into 3-gallon pots with a NEW potting mixture of Florida peat, dolomitic limestone and Nutricote 18-6-8, 360-day formula. Potted plants can be picked up at the nursery by arrangement.
